JOHNNY CASH: An American Icon Exhibit

Hours:  Wednesday through Saturday 11am – 4pm

Fender® Center for the Performing Arts
365 N Main Street – Corona, CA 92880 – 951.735.2440

Fender® Center is proud to present an exceptional, one-of-a-kind exhibit, featuring original instruments, stage clothing, awards, and memorabilia owned worn and used by the legendary entertainer from the collection of longtime Cash friend Bill Miller.

Also included in the exhibit will be select props featured in the blockbuster Johnny Cash biopic “Walk the Line”, courtesy of Fender® Musical Instruments Corporation.

For over five (5) decades, Johnny Cash has been a household name. He’s the only entertainer in history to be inducted the Songwriter’s, Country Music, and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame.  The voice and persona need no introduction.

In a career that spanned half a century, Cash’s music reached all age and demographic groups and continues to inspire new generations.  From “I Walk the Line” in the 1950’s, to his cover of the Nine Inch Nails composition “Hurt”, shortly before his death in 2003, Johnny Cash remained in the hearts and minds of an international audience.

Much of the collection is featured in Miller’s acclaimed book “Cash An American Man” which was released in May 2004 and called “The best celebrity coffee table book I’ve ever seen” by news personality Larry King.
